The Goal of the Gospel

]
The Goal of the Gospel is the ultimate perfection of those who hear it. When I speak of perfection,  I am NOT speaking about mere improvement or the acquisition of more stuff (which though these may be added advantages, they are just side effects in the ultimate plan). Many will tell you that it is not possible for a man to be perfect, but they do err.]

Gen 6:9  These [are] the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man [and]perfect in his generations, [and] Noah walked with God.
Gen 17:1  And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I [am] the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
Deu 18:13  Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.
2Sa 22:33  God [is] my strength [and] power: and he maketh my way perfect.
1Ki 8:61  Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.
Job 1:1  There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name [was] Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil
Mat 5:48  Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Col 1:28  Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

I make reference to these scriptures as I reminisce on spiritual journey. Becoming better is good as it shows progress but this is also evidence of an unfinished work. As the spirit  of God works  in you, keep in mind the ultimate Goal of the Father and know that all things which you experience, favorable or unfavorable, great and small are works that the father is doing to this end. I pray that you may be made perfect in the way of the Anointing of salvation from this day. God bless
